Rear view mirror
Apparently, it is not only 'home' that becomes romanticised with distance, but also personal relationships. Damn that rear view mirror.
I have come to forget how much certain habits of those close to me drive me insane. What makes things worse is that I seem to have lost the adaptive numbness I developed over the years. I am overreacting, like a man sitting in a dark room does when the light is suddenly switched on and he is clamoring to turn it back off, half-blind and cursing.
Bright side? I'm unarmed.
