Thanks Eve...

Feeling my pain, Eve has posted some of the pictures she took while she walked in the funeral procession.

Thank you, Eve. It's still not the same, but I feel better.

I'm glad they made you feel better to some extent. let's just hope the next procession would be carried out of a united determination, instead of a funeral..

Ramzi, my friend,
I became disappointed with the forces of 14-March because they look divided and impotent. They bear some responsibility to the death of Gebran Tueni since they are part of the government, and they did not show yet a clear strategy to get out of the situation or at least protect some people. The security around Tueni was insufficient, lax, and badly supervised. Hassan al Sabe',the minister of interior, should be replaced immediately, as well as the head of the secret services and the internal security forces.
Besides, the moves against the president, although justified, will not be fruitful and will be more evidence to their impotence. It seems , as many people have already pointed, that the clic that forms the majority in the parliament lacks a sense of responsibility and is relying only on international pressure mainly as a strategy against the Syrians. while this is an important factor, it is not enough. They should have serious talk with Michel Aoun, and be less tough on him, while pointing clearly at the indifference of Hezbollah. In the end, they are fighting Aoun because they will be unpunished for that while caressing the Shi'ite block which is more to blame in this situation. Please take these comments as an internal criticism aiming at the improvement of the performance of the majority in parliament, which is the only hope in my opinion for this country at this time. The death of Gebran Tueini was very absurd....it should not have happened!..it should not have happened!

That's a good pic. And there are more good ones on Eve's site. It is hard to be away from home, during good and bad times. Thanx Eve.
