Photomosaic
This is something I've been toying with for a while and finally got around to complete it.
Photomosaics, images portrayed as a mosaic or collage of myriad other images, are popping up all over the place but nonetheless are impressive to see. It's magic the way the little individual pictures can fool us into seeing something else on a lareger scale. (gallery here)
There is a bunch of software applications around that let us amatuers create photomosaics at home, and I've used Easy Mosaic 2005 for this project. I plugged my collection of protest pictures and photos about Lebanon's events over the past few months and came up with the Lebanese flag.
It's in Flash here because the final mosaic is huge.
