Durex, the company that protects us from disease and crying infants, has published the results of its WORLD-WIDE survey on sexual activity (more than 350,000 people from 41 countries took part).

If you happen to be French then there is a good chance you answered the survey while you were actually in bed, because the French happen to have sex 137 days a year, once every 3 days or so. The runner-ups are also Europeans with Greece and Hungary coming in second and third. As for foreplay, the winner is also Europe with Brits spending 22 minutes on average turning their partner on, followed closely by the Germans (although you could argue that the British really need that time to get things started).Asia on the other hand did miserably, with Japan being the least-laid nation; only 46 rolls in the hay per year. Hong Kong and Singapore were just a little more active.The average age of beginning sexual activity has dropped from previous years and is now 17 and six months.

So, if these statistics are to be believed, a Frenchman my age should have had 1233 sexual encounters by now. While I have had... less. Lets keep it at 'less' thank you very much.
